Sandra came to Thomas Allen in 1984. She became a Program Director in 1989 and then an Administrator in 1995. Sandra currently directs the services provided by Thomas Allen’s Conservatorship/ Guardianship division. As Administrator she oversees all services provided under the leadership of Thomas Allen’s Program Directors, Training Director and Director of Human Resources. She has a BS in Social Work and is a Licensed Social Worker by the MN Board of Social Work.
Jim joined the Thomas Allen Finance department in 1993. Prior to that he spent 10 years working as a cost/budget accountant in a hospital environment. He oversees all accounting functions including payroll, general ledger, billings, government reporting, the company’s 401K profit sharing plan, and also computer/network operations. There are a total of 8 staff in the Finance/I.S. department attending to all of the company’s financial and I.S. operations and needs. He has a B.A. degree in Business Administration/Accounting.
Katy came to work at Thomas Allen in 1990 as a Behavior Analyst and Program Manager for our ICF/ID home in New Brighton. In 1994, Katy took on the position of Program Director overseeing services and quality assurance in several different divisions which included supported living, semi-independent living, and the ICF/ID home. Katy has been involved in several new Supported Living Service developments within Thomas Allen. In 2014, Katy took on the duties of Assistant Administrator which included supervision of the Nurse Consultants and later the Training Division. Katy holds a Master of Science degree in Behavior Analysis and Therapy.
Kari came to Thomas Allen in 2006 as a Contracted Case Manager. Since then, Kari has held multiple positions within the same division. In 2011, Kari helped Case Management expand by adding Care Coordination services with health plans. As Assistant Administrator, Kari oversees Long Term Care Case Management with multiple counties as well as Managed Care Coordination with a number of health plans. Her priority in case management and care coordination is to provide excellent client services, while meeting the best practice regulations of our contracted partners. Kari holds a Masters in Social Work from Augsburg College, and is licensed by the MN Board of Social Work as a Licensed Independent Social Worker.
Beckey began her employment with Thomas Allen in May of 2013. With over 30 years of experience in both for-profit and not-for-profit sectors, she brings a wealth of experience in all areas of Human Resources. A true Generalist, managing the H.R. department and staff is an important part of her role with Thomas Allen. Beckey has a B.S. degree in Sociology from the University of Minnesota, and her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation through the Human Resources Certification Institute.
Rachel came to Thomas Allen in 2008 as a Contracted Case Manager. Since then, she has held many positions in that same division. In 2011 when the unit was expanded to provide Care Coordination services with health plans, Rachel was the first Care Coordinator to provide these services before stepping into the role as Program Manager. Now as Program Director, Rachel supervises over 20 Care Coordinators that provide Care Coordination services to several health plans. Rachel has B.A.S. degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota at Duluth.
Samantha Bravo joined Thomas Allen in 2009. She began her tenure as a Program Counselor in two Thomas Allen homes. She was soon promoted to Primary Program Counselor in one of them. In 2013 Samantha was again promoted to Program Manager at our Jefferson home in Shakopee. She held this position for 5 years until she transitioned to the position of Program Director in January 2018. Samantha holds a B.S. in psychology and a M.S.E. in school counseling. She was enrolled in her master's program when she began her journey with Thomas Allen and she has been with the company ever since.
Eva Lin began her journey with Thomas Allen in 2006 as a Contract Case Manager for CADI/BI/EW waivers with our Hennepin County contract. Over time she was promoted to Assistant Program Manager, Program Manager, and then part time Program Director in November 2015. Eva Lin currently supervises a Program Manager and Assistant Program Manager in our Ramsey County case management division, which includes 23 contracted case managers. Eva Lin’s experience serving vulnerable populations before coming to Thomas Allen includes: foster parenting, working as a Program Support Specialist in a 54 bed ICF/MR, working as a support staff in a 4 person SLS and as a TIA in a State crisis home for adults with MR. Eva Lin is a Licensed Social Worker through the Minnesota Board of Social Work. Eva Lin has a Bachelor’s in Child Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Minnesota.
Christa came to Thomas Allen in 2012 as a Contracted Case Manger working with Dakota County. Over time, she was promoted to Program Manager and then part-time Program Director in February 2019. Christa supervises over 20 Case Managers who provide Case Management services to Hennepin and Dakota County. Christa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work degree from Southwest Minnesota State University and is licensed by the MN Board of Social Work as a Licensed Social Worker.
Diane has been with Thomas Allen since 1985 offering a keen understanding or our agency mission. She has worked in several residential positions across a 33-year span as a Program Counselor, Coordinator, Manager, QIDP and Director. She held the Director position for 26 years and was responsible for marketing, developing and directing the services of numerous divisions across the 7-county metro area, including residential, training, nursing and vocational, providing a unique perspective of agency services, staffing challenges and overall needs. Her tenure, along with being a guardian of a family member with an intellectual disability, offers a distinct marketing advantage for Thomas Allen with her understanding of our target audience. Diane has a BA in Human Services Administration and Communications/Writing. Additionally, she has pursued an online education since 2014 in online business, marketing, copywriting and advertising which further enhances her role as Marketing Director at Thomas Allen. Diane holds ultimate responsibility for the organization's marketing activities and oversees the development and delivery of an integrated marketing strategy for Thomas Allen.
Kathleen (Kathi) Lamminen started her career at Thomas Allen in June 1995 as a weekend Program Counselor at Highland SLS, in Burnsville. Kathi held the position of Program Manager at this same home for 4 years and managed another home before becoming a Program Director in 2006. Kathi currently oversees 7 residential program sites including a deaf program in Shoreview. Kathi has a B.A. in English/Literary Studies from the University of Minnesota and was enrolled in St. Paul College’s ASL Interpreter program.
Michelle began her career with Thomas Allen in 1989 as a Program Manager for a residential home in Chaska. After a year, she proceeded to manage 3 homes in St. Louis Park. In 1996, Michelle moved into the Assistant Program Director position supporting multiple homes and services within Thomas Allen. Since 2011, she picked up additional representative payee responsibilities in our Case Management division. In 2018, she transitioned to the Program Director position for 4 Supported Living homes in Shakopee and Chaska. Michelle understands the perspective of family members as she continues to advocate on behalf of her sister who receives Semi-Independent Living Services in Wisconsin. Prior to her employment with Thomas Allen, Michelle received a Bachelor's degree in Vocational Rehabilitation from UW Stout and fell in love with the field working in school, vocational and residential settings in Madison, Wisconsin.
Angela began her career at Thomas Allen in 2004 working for Support Services with one client. Her second position was a weekend residential Program Counselor while she attended Minnesota State University, Mankato earning her Bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education including a minor in Adaptive Physical Education. In 2009 she became a Program Manager for one residential home and then began managing a second home in 2010. In 2015 Angela began her role as Program Director. Angela currently supports the Scattered Sites division, In-Home Family Support including Respite Services, and four residential homes, including the company's only ICF-ID. Angela also has experience working as a Training Assistant in the Training Division including facilitating standard orientation sessions and First Aid and CPR.
Susan joined Thomas Allen in November 2013 after working in the field for 12 years. Originally trained to be an educator, Susan was inspired by the inclusive environment with people of all abilities learning from each other. She is currently supporting six residential programs overseeing program management and quality assurance. Susan has a B.M. in Education from Cornell College.
Roxanne came to Thomas Allen on March 7, 2018 to oversee services in 6 of our residential homes. Prior to her arrival, Roxanne worked in the health care industry as a TMA and staffing coordinator for 13 years. She then worked 3.5 years as an Operational Program Director overseeing services in multiple residential homes that specialized in high medical and behavioral needs in Washington County. Roxanne has a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Lezlee began her career with Thomas Allen in 1986 as a Program Manager of two 4 bed community based residential facilities. About a year later when a new division at Thomas Allen was formed, Lezlee joined the Contracted Case Management Division. Lezlee worked as a Contracted Case Manager for several large counties in southern Minnesota before stepping into the role of Program Manager. Now as Program Director, Lezlee supervises a staff of 20 case managers that provide case management services to approximately 1000 individuals with developmental disabilities and related conditions under contracts with 20 county social service agencies throughout the state of Minnesota. Lezlee has a B.S. degree in Social Work and is a Licensed Social Worker by the MN Board of Social Work.
Jackie came to Thomas Allen in 2011 as a Contracted Care Coordinator working with a new Health Plan contract. Over time, she was promoted to Lead Care Coordinator, Assistant Pogram Manager, Program Manager and then part-time Program Director in March 2018. Jackie supervises over 20 Case Managers who provide Case Management services to multiple counties. Jackie holds a Masters in Social Work degree from the University of North Dakota and is licensed by the MN Board of Social Work as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.
Emily came to Thomas Allen in August 2014 as a Contracted Case Manager working with Hennepin County. Over time, she was promoted to Program Manager and then part-time Program Director in 2018. As a Program Director, Emily oversees the licensed supervision department and case management training division. Emily holds a Master's degree in Social Work from St. Catherine University and is licensed by the MN Board of Social Work as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.
